Working for the family business early on is a great experience. I can remember so much from the time I spent working with everyone. There is a history and a sense of belonging that makes the experience one of the great reasons family business is worth the effort. People want to know you understand the environment people are working in, the things that matter to them, and know you care about them and they are not just a human widget. I thank God every day I was given the experience of growing up in a family business.
